Mews Tavern Spring Special

This week we had a litte SNAFU at the farm that caused us to lose power in one of our freezers.  About 50 pounds of London broil and top round defrosted and had to be treated as fresh product.  This was actually a blessing in disguise – under duress we sold most of it to the Mews Tavern in Wakefield, RI at good price (for them) for their new spring special – Marinated & Grilled Sliced Steak Salad over local greens.Healthy and yummy.  You all know the Mews, currently celebrating its 20th year.  Treaty Rock’s outstanding ground beef has been featured as their weekend special burger since New Years and this unexpected turn of events gave me a chance to expand the breadth of our relationship.  We look forward to future collaborative efforts with this great establishment featuring our amazing 100% grass-fed dry-aged beef raised LOCALLY, NATURALLY and HUMANELY.  We see some intriguing possibilities for their Guinness stew as St. Patrick’s Day approaches.

I am delighted to learn about Mews using your beef. I will make sure that I enjoy their burgers because I have been reluctant to eat burgers anywhere lately.
thank you for the good work you do.

Looks like my daughter and I have yet another reason to stop in at the Mews this week. Local restaurants serving local grass fed beef. Fantastic!
